Use the Model Context Protocol to connect an AI assistant to your Video Armed monitoring account. Find your cameras, review incidents and summarize activity through a read-only connection.
Your existing access
The assistant can read only the sites, cameras and incidents available to your account.
Read-only tools
Review monitoring metadata and activity. The cloud integration cannot edit incidents or change arming state.
Control the connection
Approve access on the Video Armed portal and revoke the assistant grant whenever you choose.

Read-only access is available to enabled Video Armed accounts with their existing site and camera permissions. Custom-server setup instructions are available for ChatGPT, Codex, Claude, Grok and Hermes Agent; availability depends on your assistant and workspace. Directory approval and client-specific acceptance testing are separate from the server release. See the setup guide for current client test status.
